FAQ

Short answers to what developers ask first.

What kind of apps can I deploy?

Next.js first. Node and Python are next, and any app with a Dockerfile works.

Do I need to change my code to get login?

No. The proxy handles it before requests reach your app. The SDK is optional; use it when your app needs to know who is asking.

Who can see my app?

Only people you invite, unless you make it public.

Do the people I invite need an account?

No. They sign in with a link sent to their email. No password, no GitHub account.

Where is my app hosted?

On AWS in Mumbai, ap-south-1.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Add it under Domains, create the DNS records Foyr shows you, and TLS is set up automatically.

Can I bring my own database?

Yes. Set its connection string as an environment variable. Managed Postgres for each app is planned.

How much will it cost?

Free during early access. Simple pricing at launch. See Pricing.

When can I use it?

Join the waitlist. We're onboarding in small batches.
